So, as well as my laptop being shit as all hell, my phone's died.

It was having a few software problems yesterday, so when the power button didn't work to change profiles, I assumed it was software again... Turns out it's hardware since I can't switch the damn thing back on.

As if I didn't have enough on my plate at the moment...

I definitely had them at the Gathering... but have lost track of them since...

All bags and boxes have been emptied and they're not present.

On the other hand, I may just be a numpty and they may be in the washing machine but I'm not hearing any klunks from the glasses case.

In other news, I had fun at the Gathering. Monstering was brilliant and seeing folk was even better. Still... coming back home with 5 out of 8 bottles of alcohol... and the not being able to offload a bottle of chocolate port in the Unicorns Camp on the Festival of Bez when it was going for free... that was just wrong!

I'm now a Bachelor of Science with Third Class Honours in the field of Computer Science.

Though I did have to stop myself from giggling through the Chancellor of the University's speech... especially the bit where she was saying how hard we hard to work to get our degrees...

Have moved now! Not all unpacked yet, but it's all here! Address will be given to those who want it, when they want it... I don't want to just spill it all over the internet after all. (I may do a Friends-only post on LJ with it though). There will be a flat-warming at some point... I just don't know when.

In other news, I graduate on the 9th of July. And when I do, I'll be picking up a shiny Honours degree in Computer Science. (3rd class if you're wondering).

I'm vaguely worrying over the prospect of running Mortals for Cam. The closer it gets to running, the more worried and panicky I get...

And because I can't afford the time, and with the shorter holidays, looks like I won't be running a summer campaign. But I might just go old school for next year's game instead.

Flat-hunting has finally achieved success levels! We've got a flat on Yeaman place that we'll be moving into over the next couple of weeks. There's still admin stuff to sort, like actually paying the rest of the deposit, but we've got it!

Also, I graduate in less than a month, and find out what with on Thursday. Hoping for something decent... like a 2:2... Everyone seemed to like my dissertation - or at least not tell me about huge flaws at the presentation (which also went well) apart from the lack of a code appendix.

And laptop is back! I once again have my own machine, so Dave can get his back when I'm done recreating my ideal workspace on mine.

Cam stuff

So, Cam is good. I'm enjoying the games I play, and have characters ready for the others

I might be taking on the tiniest bit of responsibility though... My Mortals Venue is due to start July 5th (it's a Saturday) for character gen and stuff. Oh, and then I might be becoming the Coordinator for Edinburgh Promethean... And of course, there's my new position as AANST (Assistant Assistant National StoryTeller) Mortals (Legacy) which means that I take over if something happens to Steve Clapton...

But Cam is fantastic

I have a forgetful map-maker who's somehow ended up in charge of Edinburgh's Onyx Court (That's Winter to you non-Changeling fanatics), a newly-Changed policeman who intends to bring justice to the other Uratha (werewolves) in Edinburgh and a bug-nuts crazy ex-commando who should be on many types of drugs running around in London. I have plans for a student activist mage, a wandering vampire monk and a punk rocker promethean.

Looks like I'm going to be running the Mortals section of the Scottish Regional as well - but I already have ideas for that, so shall be much fun. Now if only I had plots for the venue in general...

Of course running my venue kind of depends on me having a flat... kicks random flat companies Flat hunting not going brilliantly and kind of have a 2 week deadline now... Hopefully things'll work out fairly soon...

Ah, the freedom and invigoration that comes from having finished one's academic studies... Dissertation is handed in, and I have only the presentation on it to do now!

And the joy of having created a new shiny site.

I'm still working my round configuring it and working out just how everything works, but my blogging has a new home at Warped but delicious...

It should also be posting to Livejournal just like my Wordpress blogs did.

I'll likely also set up another site for actual content and stuff. But this is all shiny
